Okay, first things first - if you’re not already a little bit obsessed with Hayley and Stephen, get ready.

This day? ICONIC. It was colourful, joy-fuelled, and jam-packed with personality. If Pinterest had a baby with a confetti cannon and then let loose in a super-stylish hotel and a graffiti-covered warehouse, this would be it.

Sit Down, Hold Hands and Cry (in a Good Way)

Forget standing awkwardly for your vows - Hayley and Stephen sat down holding hands like absolute legends. Ten out of ten for intimacy. And when the happy tears kicked in? Not a dry eye in the house. (And I mean real tears, not the polite dabs-your-eyes ones. These were full-on joyful sobs that made everyone else melt.)

Next level styling at Malmaison

Every corner screamed “us” - from rich, juicy colours to playful details you could spot a mile away. Bold florals? Tick. Thoughtful touches? Everywhere. Styling that melted into the party seamlessly, like it just belonged there. The bride set the tone with the most spectacular drape wall I've ever photographed and Birdcages & Dragonflies combined her talents with Jones & Jones Florals creating a show stopping spectrum of colourful vases and flowers that echoed H & S's colourful personalities.

Getting the party started at TapYard

If Malmaison was the “ooh la la” part of the day, The Tap Yard was the “LET’S DANCE” part. Exposed brick, twinkly lights, top-notch tunes, and enough feel-good energy to light up a small village. Add in some graffiti walls and a ridiculous amount of confetti and you’ve got yourself a recipe for a banging afterparty.

Honestly? It felt less like a wedding reception and more like your coolest mates invited you to the best gig of the year - but they just happened to be wearing a wedding dress and a sharp suit.

The Couple: A+ Humans

These two. Dream clients. Stylish as heck. Sweet as pie. One minute they’re giving me editorial drama on the Millenium Bridge and skipping through back alleys like happy kids. Basically, a photographer’s dream wrapped in a very joyful, very photogenic package.

Sit down during your vows - if it eases nerves and helps your focus, why not?
Wear colour like it’s a personality trait - sod trends!
Cry if you want to - these are big moments and deserve big feels (don’t hold it or force it)
