The Willows Wedding - Anita & Paul

From our very first meeting in the depths of Jesmond Dene, it was clear that Anita and Paul were absolutely smitten in love. They'd ask me to capture them in the gorgeous glow of golden hour, their was shoot filled with lots of canoodling and even ended in a slight police chase all in the name of lighting a blue smoke grenade in the dene, (there was actually a fire - “we didn’t start it with our grenade gov!”).

From that point I’ve got to know this special couple, where they have shared their story and dreams, discovered their quirks and interests and what they hoped to experience on their wedding day.

An engagement shoot followed, filled with even more personality as Anita & Paul felt more relaxed in front of the camera. Frolicking in amongst the graffiti of Ouseburn, Newcastle, open to the fun suggestions I’d throw at them, making for giggle filled images fit for their celebration.

As a wedding photographer I love when couples put their trust in me and allow impulsive moments to flow, this always creates relaxed candid shots and helps your personality to shine through., Finally their big day arrived, their wedding was in the idyllic setting of The Willows (The perfect North East wedding venue and a favourite of mine). Love and laughter filled the air, creating an intimate atmosphere as their loved ones toasted the happy couple. As I captured each heartfelt moment, I couldn't help but feel immense gratitude for being a part of such a joyous occasion... I can't wait to see whats next for Mr & Mrs Dabbs!
